Top 5 gaming mice of 2022
When it comes to gaming accessories, finding the right mouse can be difficult. After all, there are dozens of them on the market, each claiming to offer different advantages over the competition. Sometimes these claims are true and sometimes they’re not, but one thing’s for sure: you should always do your research before you purchase your next gaming mouse so that you can be confident in your choice and know exactly what you’re getting yourself into.
The HyperX Pulsefire
- Logitech G703 LIGHTSPEED: With Logitech G303's LIGHTSPEED engine, no other mouse can compete with its data throughput or speed, but that doesn't mean it is the best one out there. The new Logitech G703 comes with a Pixart PMW3367 sensor (PMW3366) and has settings for tracking distance per inch/cm (400 CPI to 8200 CPI), DPI settings, surface calibration, LIGHTSPEED engine sensitivity adjustment settings for both profile 1 and profile 2. The Logitech G703 is probably the fastest gaming mouse available on the market today.
- Razer Basilisk Essential: The newer 2017 version of the Razer Basilisk has many improvements to create a more durable game-ready device.
Corsair Scimitar RGB
The first mouse on the list is the Corsair Scimitar RGB. The Scimitar is a highly customizable gaming mouse, as it comes with an 8,200 DPI sensor, six macro buttons (which are positioned below the thumb), and an ultra-responsive sniper button. With six levels of DPI that can be easily swapped through on-the-fly with the dip switch behind the scroll wheel, this is a mouse for any type of gamer. I can say from personal experience that it has some great tracking and responsiveness and offers a lot in terms of customization. If you're looking for a simple but powerful mouse to do your gaming justice, this might just be the one for you.
SteelSeries Rival 650
For a tight budget and an ergonomic palm grip, SteelSeries’ Rival 650 is hard to beat. The tactile buttons on the thumb-side are some of the best for comfortability, and on top of that, it has some nifty little features like customizing DPI settings for up to four different games. On top of that, it has its own app that you can use to program your DPI adjustments. It does lack any customization regarding other aspects like weight and shape though so if you need something more complex than just a mouse this may not be what you're looking for.
HyperX Pulsefire Surge
At the end of 2017, HyperX created its first gaming mouse. The Pulsefire Surge features Pixart PMW3389 optical sensors and Omron switches. With this combo, the Pulsefire can reach up to 12,000 DPI and 50g acceleration. It also has a hyper-clicky scroll wheel that can't be touched and instead uses an internal assembly to improve durability while preventing unintentional scrolling while in use. Finally, the glossy sides offer a nice aesthetic touch that combines with everything else to create an awesome-looking mouse that is easy on your hand because it's not heavy and has an ergonomic shape.
Logitech G903 Lightspeed
The top five best gaming mice in the year 2022 are ranked as follows: Logitech G903 Lightspeed, BenQ ZOWIE EC1-B, Logitech G602 Hyperion Fury, Cyber Snipa Mouse Ripper-X, and The Patriot Memory Glitch L96 Optical Gaming Mouse. It's difficult to choose which mouse is the best since they all have different qualities. It all depends on personal preference and needs; but without further ado, let's get right into the reviews!
1) The first mouse on our list is the Logitech G903 Lightspeed. This is a lightweight and ergonomic design with its own charging cable included!
